Since launching in 2022, Drive World has grown into an incredible community of players and car enthusiasts. Together, we’ve reached nearly 500 million visits, grown our Discord community to over 120,000 members, was nominated for multiple RIA categories and even took home the 2023 Roblox Innovation Award for Best Immersive Environment!
Our game is now four years old and we’re not done.
We’ve been working on something big for Drive World.
More Than One Update
The Drive World overhaul will roll out in multiple phases, starting with Phase I.
Each phase will focus on a different part of the game, allowing us to improve the core experience first and build on those changes with future updates.
We’ll share more details about each phase as development continues!
What’s Changing?
Our focus is on making Drive World more fun to drive, race, explore, and progress through.
We’re tuning up the parts of the game that have the biggest impact on how you play, including:
- Driving and vehicle handling
- Progression and rewards
- UI and navigation
- Existing gameplay systems
- New ways to play and customize your experience
- The overall look and feel of the game
We’re putting Drive World back in the garage for a full tune-up, improving the core experience while building a stronger foundation for what’s down the road!
What’s Next?
One of those is player housing, giving players more ways to make Drive World feel like their own. We’re also exploring new content, improvements to existing features, and more ways to play outside of what you can do today.
There’s still a lot in development, so we’ll be sharing more as these features take shape and get closer to release.
This is one of the biggest projects we’ve taken on for Drive World, and we’re excited for everyone to see it come together.
