Bringing Panem to life on Roblox
Twin Atlas has been collaborating with Lionsgate to bring the global blockbuster franchise, The Hunger Games, to Roblox, and the result is The Hunger Games: Panem RP. An official, immersive world built from the franchise’s canon, live to play now.
The Hunger Games franchise has pulled readers and audiences into the world of Panem for over a decade, from the opulence of the Capitol to the districts that keep it running. The Hunger Games: Panem RP lets fans experience that world instead of watching it from the outside.
Inside the World of The Hunger Games
The Hunger Games: Panem RP is a full roleplay experience, not a promotional tie-in. From its economy to its social order, every location is built around how Panem actually works in the story, rather than just reimagining the look.
In the Capitol, status is everything. Players style clients in Tigris’ Shop, build out their own wardrobe, and earn rewards along the way. Out in District 12 the work is demanding: mine coal, iron, and copper, fulfill orders at the Bakery, and explore the Seam and the Hob. And now, in the recently launched District 4, cast your line at the docks, gear up to set sail, and sell fish to earn new clothing and upgrades! All three places feel completely different from each other, which is exactly the point. They’re opposing ends of the same Panem.
More Than a Screen
Roblox has become a place where fans can do more than follow a franchise from the outside. They can step inside it, take on a role, and play it live with friends. That shift is what makes a project like this possible.
It’s the kind of experience that Twin Atlas sets out to build. The world of Panem stays consistent, while each player shapes their own path through earning new clothing, and unlocking new districts as they go.
An Expanding World
Panem keeps expanding. Today, District 7, the lumber and paper district, will launch in the game. Players grow and chop trees, mill the timber at the Sawmill, and turn it into goods that supply the rest of Panem. District 7 is the second District we’ve added since launch.
Collaborating with Lionsgate on this has been a highlight for our team. Bringing a franchise this well-known to a new audience and getting the details right is the kind of work we want to be doing.
